About Us

Operating locally within Wodonga while also serving North East Victoria and Southern NSW, MACLO Consulting is deeply committed to providing valuable support to the community. Through our services, we focus on two critical areas that address distinct needs.

One of our primary offerings is Children’s Trauma Assessment and Therapy. We take pride in creating a safe and confidential space for children to heal from trauma. Our dedicated professionals work closely with each child, crafting personalised therapeutic approaches that not only facilitate recovery but also equip them with essential coping skills for the future. Our belief in the importance of addressing childhood trauma is rooted in its potential to foster resilience and positive growth.

Additionally, we extend our expertise to helping individuals with disabilities and their families navigate complex systems. We understand the challenges they encounter and act as guides through these processes, helping individuals understand their plans, identify suitable service providers, and ensure that the support received aligns with individual needs and goals. By simplifying access to essential resources, we contribute to a more inclusive and supportive community environment.

Our Services

Children’s Trauma Assessment

With a focus on early intervention, we provide a holistic assessment of a child’s responses to traumatic events for example; parental separation, family violence, and school refusal. We develop an understanding of what has happened and how to support children through tough times, using the child’s voice as our guide.

Children’s Trauma Therapy

We work with children and families to address their concerns and reach their goals. We use techniques like storytelling, sand play and drawing in a safe and confidential environment to enable children to feel comfortable. Working together to hear the voices of children and make a positive difference to their lives.
